If you opt in, TalkRev.ai may send transactional text messages such as:
- Booking confirmations (sent immediately after a reservation/appointment is created)
- Updates/changes related to the booking (if applicable)
- Cancellation confirmations (sent immediately after a cancellation is completed)
- Reminders (typically 24 hours before, configurable by the business)
We do not use this messaging program to send marketing or promotional messages.
2. Who is sending these messages
Messages are sent by TalkRev.ai. When applicable, messages may reference the business you booked with (example: “TalkRev.ai for [Business Name]”).
3. How you opt in (web / chat / booking page)
End-users opt in by entering their mobile number during a TalkRev-powered booking flow and actively selecting an unchecked SMS consent checkbox.
3.1 Consent checkbox disclosure (example)
On the booking form, the checkbox text is displayed in clear language similar to:

Important: The SMS consent checkbox is not pre-checked, and consent is not required to complete a reservation/appointment (unless a specific business requires SMS for operational reasons, in which case an alternative contact method will be offered).
4. How you opt in (phone / voice assistant)
If a reservation/appointment is made by phone, an agent or voice assistant may ask for consent to send confirmation/reminder texts.
4.1 Verbal consent script (example)
“Would you like me to text you confirmation and reminder messages about your reservation/appointment from TalkRev.ai? Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”If the customer agrees, TalkRev.ai collects the phone number and proceeds.
5. Opting out and getting help
You can manage SMS preferences at any time:
5.1 Age Restrictions
- STOP — unsubscribe from messages
- HELP — get help or support information
- START (or re-opt-in through the booking flow) — resubscribe after opting out (where supported)
After you text STOP, you may receive a final confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed.

- Message frequency varies depending on your reservation/appointment activity and reminder settings.
- Msg & data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
7. What information we collect for SMS and why
For SMS delivery and compliance, we may collect and store:
- Phone number
- Consent status (opt-in / opt-out)
- Timestamp and method of consent (web checkbox or verbal)
